Weekend in Tahoe with the Gouveia's

Last weekend, we took a quick family trip up to Kath and Joe's Tahoe house. Although Liam had a fever and some mysterious illness, we all had a good time. Michael and I especially enjoyed naptime; Drew sleeping and Liam fixated on his Leapster. Michael got to take a nice hike with Kath and Joe, while I did about 100 word find puzzles. We had a really nice, relaxing time (or at least part of the time). I tell ya, two kids is so much easier than one... huh?

What's for dinner? Well, nothing the kids seemed interested in...that's for sure.

Eli and Liam just kickin' it in the hammock.

If only you could truly see how dirty Drew is here. His favorite past time was to play in the backyard and pick-up one handful after another of DIRT! Then, just to really have a good time, he would throw it in the air, thus blowing back in his face. Good times, good times.

Joe and Katherine do a photo shoot in the meadow...so romantic.

The Graduate...

I'm pleased to announce that Liam Foster Crowley graduated from preschool on Friday, June 13th, complete with the Pledge of Allegiance and the "Make New Friends" song. All the kids wore white t-shirts that had their classmates handprints on them, so it looked really cool and it's a great keepsake! BTW, the reason I wrote Liam's full name is because that is how he wanted his namecard for his chair to read. Mind you, no other children had all three names on their name cards. I guess that's what he tells everyone his name is at school. :-)

Liam's Party Pics (just a few)

Liam turns 5! How can this be?

Liam and all his friends posing for a party pic. Too bad Mom's ponytail got in the way. Liam had a GREAT time. His theme was Rudolph...what? Doesn't every little boy have something like Spiderman, Cars or Rudolph? You should have seen the goodie bags!

Cute cake, but what about the Rudolph theme?

That's what I'm talking about!

Easter, Drew's Birthday, etc...

Pre-Easter Activities

One blue egg, one orange egg, one pink egg...

This was not nearly as successful as we'd hoped; Drew was mortified by the BIG white thing.

"I got more eggs than Drew! I think I have 100!"

Drew and his neighbor gal pal Mylie, both questioning what the big white thing is doing.

Liam and neighbor gal pal Carlie enjoying the show together.

How low can you go....how low can you go...

Liam and Carlie take a break from the Easter egg hunt.

Easter Day

Thanks to the Connelly's, Liam and Drew now have two ducks to care for.

Nice pose...

The Crowley Easter Portrait
(using the neighbors front yard as back drop, because it looks so much beter than ours!).

Grandman and Grandpa snag Liam for a quick pic.

A FEW MORE DREW BDAY PICS

Drew turns 2!

We are pleased to report he didn't get a hold of those candles.

Blow out the candles!

Daddy's always taking the pics, but we all had a nice celebration on Drew's real bday.

Drew just reflecting on his life...all two years of it! This is taken after his party.

This is Liam at Drew's party with his 104.2 fever. Didn't really get to join in the fun.

A Few Random Shots

Michael continues to work on the mural in baby Drew's room. It's really beautiful and taken from photos we took while in Moscow.

Hawaiian Day at School.

Too cool for school...

Drew's very first haircut. The lollypop was a total bribe.

Drew and Liam just giving each other advice in a deep conversation.

Some Pics from 2007

JULY - 2007

Drew's first trip away from home was up to Lake Tahoe to visit with Aunt Kath, Uncle Joe and Eli. While we had to completely rearrange their house so baby Drew wouldn't hurt himself (just learning to walk!), we had a great visit with the Gouveia's, as usual.

Unfortunately, I think Liam got Eli addicted to the Leapster game machine.

Man oh man, did we have to lube up this little chap for his first visit to the beach.

OCTOBER - 2007

We had fun at the pumpkin patch and of course we left with more pumpkins than we needed.

The Crowley Boys...what a great looking crew!

Halloween

Drew loved his little giraffe costume...he just didn't want to sit still at all!

Good thing we caught this pic when we did, because Liam was about to fall off one leg and Drew the other.

DECEMBER- 2007

First visit to Gilroy Gardens...what fun! It's was completely decked out for the holidays.

Christmas Day at the Crowley's

Kaden and Eli playing with some of the newest toys. Yes, Kaden has a Spiderman laptop...cooooool!

Liam made this at Liz's office Holiday Party...nice job and tasty too.

The cousins pretending to eat breakfast so they can hurry up and open presents!

Christmas at the Crowley's; lawn art and all. Resembles the Griswald's doesn't it?
